Our Team

Ken is a 30-year veteran of the Gift & Accessory Industry specializing in brand development, marketing, product development, sourcing and distribution. As former CEO of Goebel of North America, Ken guided the growth of the world-renowned Hummel Brand internationally and nurtured premier license relationships with Disney, Warner Bros., Coca Cola and others for over 22 years.  In 2001, Ken launched Graham Group International, his own management consulting and new business development firm….and in 2011 joined with Paul Wheeler as Partner in Offsides, LLC, a new Branding & Licensing firm. Together they launched the enormously successful parody brand Life is Crap®. Ken is a native Philadelphian with two daughters who now resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife.

Paul Wheeler began his career in art licensing by writing bad limericks on the blank pages in classic novels like War and Peace and Moby Dick, and then graduating with a degree in Creative Writing and Photography and joining the photo team at Time Life. After a stint there he started Wheeler Pictures, a photo agency in New York City specializing in producing unique editorial feature stories and syndicating them worldwide through their 13 international affiliate offices. After merging his business, and moving to Vermont he became involved in fine art licensing and art brand development and his company Looking Good Licensing has been one of the major art licensing companies in the market since 2005. In 2011 he joined forces with his friend, Ken Lefevre, an industry veteran, to launch Offsides Branding, a new licensing and branding company. Their first brand was the successful parody brand, Life is Crap®, which sold for years until it was recently purchased by an apparel company. He has licensed brands like Roy Rogers, April Cornell, Animal Quackers, Yoga Dogs, and many others. He and his wife have four children, four grand kids, a dog, and a horse and between their families they have 8 horses, six dogs, 12 chickens, a handful of cats, and kids scattered in Missoula, Jackson Hole and Santa Barbara. Paul swears he never inhaled!

Born in 1981, Renee Kemper is one of those weird, micro-generation Xennials (also known as the Oregon Trail Generation and Generation Catalano) who had a mix of an analog childhood and digital adulthood. Her first computer quit working while in college, and while sitting on hold with tech support, she took the computer apart, fixed it, and put it back together (then hung up on tech support). Her obsession with technology started long before then (AOL chat rooms, anyone?), but that was when it became clear—she was 100% nerd and would own it. Renee started designing websites before Wordpress was a thing (you know… Frontpage and actual HTML, ewww). She has worked in both the corporate and freelance spaces for over 19 years, on everything from project management to overall client strategy, including content, social media, and web development as well as developing long-term relationships with clients. Renee has also played a large part in PR, brand management, and business development for a long list of clients. Recently, she found a love for design, which she enjoys honing in her spare time. Her favorite things are coffee, solving problems, and playing with new software... mostly in that order. Renee and her husband, Aaron, live in Northwest Arkansas as brand new empty nesters with a deep wanderlust that will eventually lead them to become full-time travelers (whenever that random check in the mail makes them instant billionaires).

Born and raised in New England by a pair of macrobiotic hippies, Abby's roots grow deep in nature, art, music and freedom of spirit. These forces have led her on a creative path encompassing various creative endeavors including design, photography and pretty amazing toddler crafts (if she does say so herself). When Abby isn't having a dance party with her kids or beer-hunting with her husband, she can be found following Phish around, rockin' out at festivals with friends and living the Life Is High mantra!
